February 8, 2010 (week 21)

AP Physics 12 - Reminder of the chapter 9 Torque test on February 11. This week we will start chapter 18 Electrostatics.

Physics 11 - This week we will finish chapter 11 Energy Conservation. Students should complete all of the practice problems and end of chapter review problems in preparation for the chapter 11 test on February 18.

Science 10 - This week we will continue to work on chapter 5 Acids, Bases, and Salts. Students should we completing workbook chapter 5 at their own pace in preparation for the test in a few weeks.

Math 9 - We are currently working in chapter 3 Using Algebra to Solve Problems. Students should be completing all of the practice problems in each section of chapter 3. They need to show their workings as per the examples in their text. Many students rush to complete their work without adequately showing their workings in a series of clear steps. Parents should check to see that their child is showing work in steps.
